Remove participants from a project

You can remove a user from the list of team members for a project. Removing a user doesn't remove their Inspire account or subscription. Before you can remove a participant from a project you must first remove them from any tasks they are assigned to in the project.

You must have an existing project.
Before you can follow the steps in this topic, Create a project if one doesn't exist.

You must remove users from any tasks they are assigned to in the project.
To remove a participant from an assignment, follow the steps in Re-assign a project task to a participant.

To remove participants from a project:

  1. Click Projects_TopMenuOpt Projects.
  2. On the Project Management tab, double-click to open the project that you want to update.
    You can also open a project by:
    • Right-clicking the project and then selecting Open.
    • Clicking Action_Menu the Options menu and then selecting Open.
  3. Next to the user you want to remove, click the remove icon remove_icon.
  4. On the Remove Participant dialog, click Yes.
