Find project workflows

As you create and use more project workflows, you can use basic search tools as well as build more advanced queries to find the workflow you need. If you want to save your search results, you can export them as a CSV file .

Directly under the Workflow title bar is a grey ribbon that tells you what filters and queries are being used.

  • Sort tells you which column the list is sorted by.
  • You see either Asc or Desc to describe how the column is sorted.
  • Queries tells you if you are seeing only the search results from an advanced query. If it says None, the list shows all workflows.
  • To create an advanced query, in the Workflow title bar, select Advanced search.
  • To clear all filters, select Clear .
  • To hide the grey ribbon that tells you what filters and queries are being used, after Clear , select the blue up arrow.

Basic search tools

If you only need to find one workflow and you know the title or a unique word or phrase to identify it, you can use basic search tools.

Sort the list

  • You can use any column in the list to show the workflow you want to see first and avoid scrolling through the entire list.
  • You can show or hide columns to see only the details you need to find the workflow.

Advanced search tools

You can use the advanced search feature to build queries.

Use operators and parameters

To enter a combination of unique words or phrases, you can use the operators (And, Or) and grouping features (), and add multiple parameters to find more exact matches.

To add or verify search parameters:

  1. In the Field list, select an option.
  2. In the Operator list, select a criteria such as the not equal sign (<>) to exclude a value.
  3. In the Value field, enter the text, number, or date you're searching for.
  4. Optionally, you can click Add to add another search parameter.
    1. If you have multiple parameters in the query, choose the appropriate criteria from the And/Or list.
    2. To group search parameters, select the checkboxes for two or more consecutive parameters and click Group selected clauses.
  5. Click Search.
