Navigate through Inspire

When you log into GlobalLink Vasont Inspire, you always see the dashboard first . The Dashboard shows you what you've recently opened or worked on. You can use the topics in this section to take a tour of the screens in Inspire and to understand what you can do and where your tools are.

The following image shows the toolbar that's always at the top of the screen. You can't hide it, but the options can change based on the permissions associated with your seat type and user account. Your account is managed by an administrator in GL Vasont's License Manager.

To access a feature (also called a module), click an icon in this top menu to open a tab in Inspire.

The options you see can change based on the permissions associated with your user account.

For example, if you have been notified that you have a review assignment, after you log in you can look on the Dashboard tab, which is automatically opened for you.

• You can then click the Reviews icon to open a tab that displays information about Reviews Management.
• To close a module, just use the Close option next to the tab's title.
• You can't close the Dashboard tab.

To access your user notifications and preferences, click an icon in this top-right menu to open a window in Inspire.

• See Notifications you receive from Inspire when you've requested some action be performed.
  • Actions such as creating a review, publishing, and creating a report are examples of what can trigger a notification sent to you.
  • The red number tells you how many unread notifications you have.
• Send feedback to the Inspire customer support team.
• Configure Settings unique to your user account.
  • Tell Inspire when you want to receive a notification (creating/updating components, review assignments, publishing, etc.).
  • Tell Inspire where you want to receive a notification (Email, Slack, in the Inspire app).

  • Open GlobalLink Vasont License Manager to update personal information.
  • Sign out of Inspire.
• Get more Help
  • See the version of the app you're running.
  • Check for updates.
  • Open the online-help.

To help you work as efficiently as possible, Inspire now remembers the tabs you had open from the last time you logged in. When you log back into Inspire, all the previous tabs are re-opened for you automatically.

• When you have tabs open in Inspire and you refresh the browser (Ctrl + F5), the same tabs are re-opened.
• When you have tabs open in Inspire and you log out and back in, the same tabs are re-opened.

When you have tabs open in Inspire and you log out, if you clear your browser cache, the tabs you had open before logging out are not re-opened automatically.
