Share a component using a URL

You can now copy direct links to a component from the Components browser for sharing and collaboration. This lets you provide quick access to a component from other apps such as Slack, chats, email, and Microsoft Teams.

Two new actions have been added to the Options menu (and right-click menu):

• Copy Edit Component URL – Copies a URL to your clipboard that allows recipients to open the component in Inspire directly in edit mode.
• Copy View Component URL – Copies a URL to your clipboard that allows recipients to open the component as read-only.

Before you begin

• You can also access these actions in a project, in the Content pane. Follow the steps in Share a project component using a URL.
• You cannot access these actions in the Selected Components panel.
