Share a project component using a URL

You can now copy direct links to a project component from the Content pane for sharing and collaboration. This lets you provide quick access to a project component from other apps such as Slack, chats, email, and Microsoft Teams.

Two new actions have been added to the Options menu (and right-click menu) in the Content pane:

• Copy Edit Component URL – Copies a URL to your clipboard that allows recipients to open the project component in Inspire directly in edit mode.
• Copy View Component URL – Copies a URL to your clipboard that allows recipients to open the project component as read-only.

Before you begin

• You can also access these actions in the Components browser. Follow the steps in Share a component using a URL.
• You cannot access these actions if you use the Select Project Components option to open the Select Project Components screen.
