Enhancements to the Dashboard

Customize your dashboard layout

Users can now personalize their main dashboard by collapsing, expanding, and resizing the existing panes (Recently Opened Projects, My Assignments, Favorite Folders, Favorite Components, Recently Opened Components, My Reviews, and Followed Components). Dashboard layout changes are automatically saved and restored on refresh, making it easier to tailor the dashboard to individual workflows.

For more details, read: View recent activity on the Dashboard.

See the number of components in a review on your dashboard

The My Reviews pane on the dashboard now shows the number of reviewable components for each review. This helps reviewers quickly assess review size and prioritize work.

For more details, read: See my reviews.

Enhancements to component management

See preview thumbnails for EPS graphics

Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) graphics now display thumbnail previews when the file contains an embedded TIFF preview. This improves visual identification of EPS assets in component details and image selection screens.

See a list of exclusions in your notifications

Publish and export notifications now list components that were excluded because the user did not have read access permissions. This provides immediate visibility into missing content without requiring manual review of logs or outputs.

Download notifications as CSV files

Users can now download translation and system notifications as CSV files. This enables easier sorting, filtering, and reporting of notification data outside Inspire.

For more details, read: Download a notification body as a CSV file.

Check for tags when running a completeness report

Completeness reports can now be run based on applied tags. Users can report on components with or without selected tags, making it easier to validate tagging across content sets.

For more details, read: Save a CSV list of selected components.

Use Component Details to see associated reviews

A new Reviews tab has been added to the Component Details screen, displaying all non-archived reviews associated with the component. This improves visibility into review history directly from component details.

For more details, read: View associated reviews.

Report on tagged content in CSV files

Exported CSV files from the Component Browser now include tag information. This allows users to analyze and report on tagged content without relying on hover-only screen indicators.

For more details, read: Save a CSV list of selected components.

Use color-coded icons to identify file types

Binary file icons are now color coded by file type in the Component Browser and Review panels, making it easier to distinguish file types at a glance.

Use Namespace attributes when applying profiling filters

Profiling filters can now be applied to attributes with namespaces (for example, xml:lang), enabling more accurate conditional processing.

For more details, Administrators can read: Use profiling attributes.

Save and submit content without seeing false warnings

Saving and submitting components with internal references no longer triggers misleading Where used screens. The Where used screen now appears only when other components are actually impacted.

Enhancements to projects

Change the active assignment in a workflow

Administrators and authorized users can now change the active assignment for an executing project workflow. This allows workflows to be corrected mid-process without canceling and restarting.

For more details, read: Change the current activity in a workflow.

Restart completed workflows

Completed project workflows can now be restarted by authorized users. When restarting, users can select the activity and assignee to begin the workflow.

For more details, read: Restart a completed workflow.

Use a workflow activity to create a translation job

Project workflows can now include an activity that launches the Translate component screen upon completion. This allows translation jobs to be initiated directly as part of a workflow.

For more details, read: Automate translations with a workflow template.

Use a workflow activity to publish content

Project workflows can now initiate publishing actions. Depending on the number of components, users are guided through publishing a single component or selecting multiple components to publish.

For more details, read: Automate publication with a workflow template.

See refresh enhancements on the Content panel

In a project, refreshing the Content panel now preserves the expanded folder state and supports multi-select actions. The panel is also refreshed automatically before key workflow actions to prevent stale data.

For more details, read: Manage project content.

Run a workflow report and include Ready to Claim tasks

Project workflow reports now include assignments in the Ready to Claim state, ensuring all actionable tasks are visible in workflow status reporting.

For more details, read: Work with Project Workflow reports for project components.

See the State on the Select Project Components screen

The Select Project Components screen now includes a State column, allowing users to see whether components are locked, approved, or in review before selecting them.

For more details, read: Manage project content.

See Due Dates for a workflow activity

Workflow activity boxes now display due dates when they are defined, improving visibility into workflow timelines.

Create multiple assignments from a workflow activity

Workflow activities can now be configured to create multiple assignments, one per selected user. All assignments must be completed before the workflow can advance.

For more details, read: Manage workflow template activities.

Automatically add target language components to projects

When creating translations from a project, target language components can now be automatically added to the project structure, ensuring translated content remains organized and accessible.

For more details, read: Translation FAQs.

Enhancements to review management

Permanent visibility into review discussions

Review and component discussion replies are now always visible when returning to a review. This prevents missed comments and improves collaboration during the review process.

For more details, read: Work with review discussions.

See a corrected review progress calculation

Review progress percentages now correctly exclude context-only components. Progress indicators more accurately reflect the number of reviewable components completed by a reviewer.

For more details, read: See my reviews.

See review progress consistency across views

Review progress displayed on the dashboard and in Review Management is now consistent. Progress calculations focus on active review components and no longer include context-only content.

Enhancements to translation management

See the number of languages in a job

The Translation Management screen now displays a Language Count column, allowing users to quickly verify the number of target languages selected for a translation job.

For more details, read: See the language count in a translation job.
