Configure Inspire in the Administration modules
As a GlobalLink Vasont Inspire administrator, you have the permission to view and manage the operation of your Inspire instance. You must use the Administration module, which is a group of settings that govern how Inspire features work. For example, there are modules for reviewing the event log, configuring export options that users can select, and configuring how XML validation works in Inspire and Oxygen.
Tips and tricks
You can access all the Administration modules from the Administration menu.
The Event log option is no longer listed in the
Administration menu.
- It now has its own top menu option called
Event log.
- It's listed after
Notifications option and before
Publishing.
- This allows users who aren't administrators access to event logs for troubleshooting.
Now, to manage the event log:
- By default, users who have the role of System Administrator or Application Administrator have access to the new
Event log menu.
- You can grant users who aren't admins permission to Event logs. Follow the steps in Manage module access.
- You can still review and manage the logs using the
Event log menu. Follow the steps in Troubleshoot using event logs.
