Work with PDFs

After importing a PDF file into Inspire, you can reference it the same as you would an image. It's a binary file so you can't edit it, but you can add it to a topic using Oxygen and manage it in the Components browser.

Work with PDF files as you would an image:

Select a PDF file with the Image selector in Oxygen and add it to a topic.
See only the first page of the PDF image in the topic.
In the Components browser, select the PDF binary component, and open it in the PDF Viewer to see all pages.
View component details for a PDF to see a thumbnail of only the first page.
Publish a document that contains a PDF image.

Although you can drag-and-drop an image file from your desktop straight into a topic, you cannot do this with a PDF file.
