Set a Maximum Document value for GlobalLink Enterprise jobs
After you create an Active translation integration method for GlobalLink Rest Apis, and you authenticate your method with GlobalLink Enterprise (formerly known as Project Director), you can see and edit the Configuration Information. When editing a configuration, you can set to a Maximum Document value to have Inspire analyze the job files and automatically create multiple submissions.
Tips and tricks
GlobalLink Enterprise has been renamed to GlobalLink Enterprise.
The number of submissions Inspire creates is based on the Maximum Document value that only an administrator can set.
- This translation feature is useful when users have a map with a large number of references.
- In GlobalLink Enterprise, most jobs have a default maximum of 5000 documents.
- If you use a value of 0, Inspire will not analyze the translation job or split the submission.
- For more information, read Send components to translation.
This value determines how Inspire splits up the files into multiple jobs by language.
If the number of source components is more than the Maximum Document value, Inspire creates a submission for each language.
If the number of source components multiplied by the number languages is more than the Maximum Document value, Inspire:
Figures out how many languages can fit into one submission.
Creates submissions for each group of languages.
- Each submission that is created includes a suffix of a dash and a number (-1, -2, -3, etc.) to help users identify the parts of the submission that was split up.
