Manage the premium AI feature

Inspire provides a way to create an AI-powered search. This search can be used to help authors develop content as well as provide quick answers for your customers.

To access this premium feature, you must purchase it separately. Contact your Vasont customer representative to invest in efficiency and discover how AI can elevate your search experience today!

You must be an Administrator to enable and configure the premium AI feature.

To configure the AI feature:

  • Purchase the optional AI Premium feature. This turns on the automatic processes in Inspire that add data to the AI indices, and adds items to the menu options for managing the AI feature.
  • Enable the ability to create an index. You can enable one or both of the following indexing options:
    • AiApprove. Enable this option if you want an Approve index to build up the content that can be available in a chat bot you provide to your customers.
    • AiSubmit. Enable this option if you want a Submit index to build up the content that is used by authors in the Oxygen editor when they ask the AI Assistant a question.
  • Create the actual index. The index stores numerical representations of the data to empower the search to go beyond simple keyword matching and to understand the context and intent behind a search query. You can create one or both of the following indexes: Approve, Submit. Each index is given a unique ID that can be referenced by a proprietary chat bot.

To maintain the data in AI search index

  • As components are updated in Inspire, the AI index data is also automatically updated.
  • Users can add components (and their content) to an index manually.
  • Users can remove components (and their content) from an index manually.
  • Administrators can delete an entire index.

To use the AI powered search

After an administrator has configured the feature, all Inspire users can:

  • Manually add data to an AI index
  • Open a component in the Oxygen editor and ask the AI assistant a question
