Move a folder into another folder
You can move folders in the Components browser to organize content to meet the needs of your organization. You can only move one folder and all of it's sub-folders and contents at a time. You can move a folder using drag and drop or the Options menu.
Tips and tricks
In the Components browser you can select a folder and use the
Options menu to select Permissions... and see the folder's permission settings.

- If the folder you're moving has the Inherit permissions from Parent Folder option selected, the folder's permissions are reset to match the permissions of the new parent folder.
- If the folder you're moving does not have the Inherit permissions from Parent Folder option selected, the folder's permissions aren't modified.
- If you want to hide the new folder from users who are not administrators, you can set a permission level of None on the folder.

You can move a folder to be a root folder.
- Only root folders exist at the same level as the system folders Deleted Items and External References.
