After you define a set of import rules in an import configuration, you can update the details at any time, or clear the Active option to hide the configuration from users when they are importing content into Inspire.
You must have administrator permissions to work with import configurations.
Tips and Tricks
To update an import configuration:

From the top menu, select Administration, and then Import configuration.

On the Import configuration tab, select the existing import configuration you want to update.

To edit the configuration, do one of the following:
- Double-click the configuration's row
- At the end of the configuration's row, click Update .

On the Update Import Configuration screen, on the Details tab:

To let users know how content is being transformed, in Name, update the descriptive title using 50 characters or less.

Optionally, in Description, update any additional details about the transformation.

Leave the Import Type as Standard.

Optionally, to hide this configuration from users, clear the Active option.

Optionally, to automatically show this configuration when the Import components dialog opens, select Default.

Optionally, to update who can use this import configuration, click the Permissions tab.

To remove a specific user or role, in the row, after the Security Type, click Remove .

To remove all users and roles, and allow everyone to be able to select this import configuration (if Active), in the toolbar, click Remove All.

To add a specific user or role, click Add.
i. On the Select Users/Roles screen, in Available Users/Roles, select the user or role group that you want to allow access to this import configuration.
You can see more information about the user or role you select in the Details pane.
ii. On the Select Users/Roles screen, click Select.
On the Permissions tab, the users and roles you select are listed in the grid by Name.

To update the XSLT rules, click the Transforms tab.

To remove an XSLT, in the row, after the Name, click Remove .

To add another XSLT, click Add.
i. On the Import Components screen, click Browse for files...
ii. On the Open dialog, locate the XSLT file, click it, and then click Open.
iii. On the Import Components pane, click Next, Next, and then Finish.

If you have multiple rows of stylesheets, you can set the order in which they are applied.
● To move an XSLT up in the order, click the up arrow

● To move an XSLT down in the order, click the down arrow
.

On the Update Import Configuration screen, click Update.
On the
Import configuration screen you see the configuration with any values you updated.
