Display topic content in a map
When you're organizing topics into a map's hierarchy, you can change how you see the content in a map to view the actual content in the topic without leaving the Oxygen map editor. You can't edit the content in this view but you can see elements such as images and links as they will appear in the published output.
Tips and tricks
You can change the content you see in a map in other ways:
- To go back to the default view of topic Filenames, follow the steps in View a maps's topic references.
- To highlight just the topic's title in bold, follow the steps in Show only topic titles in a map.
- If you're working with a large map, you can collapse and expand content by folding elements so you see only the references you need. Follow the steps in Fold map references in Oxygen.
You can see the following information in the Topic Content view:
The Title of the map
An expand/collapse arrow to show or hide content
The Title of the topic
The Filename of the topic
The content of the topic
