Zoomin request for new content

You can ask a content developer to create new content through a Zoomin documentation center request. If you want to comment on content that already exists, follow the instructions in Zoomin feedback comments on existing content.

When GL Vasont Inspire receives a request for new content from Zoomin, the following actions occur.

  1. A new component is created and stored in the folder in the Components browser designated for feedback from Zoomin.
  2. The new component is added to the project designated to manage requests from Zoomin.
  3. An assignment is created for the project owner to review the request.
    • The activity is set to the designated activity.
    • The submitter email is added to the Additional Notifications box.
    • The component is associated to the assignment.
    • The submitter receives an email notification.
  4. The project owner determines whether content should be created.
  5. The project owner completes the assignment, indicating that the content should be created.
    • The assignment is removed from the project.
    • The submitter receives an email notification.
    • The component remains in the project.
    • The project owner determines the next action for this component.
  6. The project owner cancels the assignment, indicating that the content should not be created.
    • The assignment is removed from the project.
    • The submitter receives an email notification.
    • The component is removed from the project.
