Follow components to get update notifications

If you want to see a notification when another user updates a component, you can choose to follow the component. You also get a notification if the component is deleted.

Components you're following are marked with a binocular icon.

You can't hide this column showing the binocular icon.
You can hover over the following icon to see the number of users following a component.
You can add a column to see as a list of user names following a component. Use the steps in Follow a component in the browser.

Notifications

When you're following a component and another user deletes or updates a component, you get notifications in the following places:

In the summary of notifications in the top right corner, when you click the bell icon .
On the Notifications tab.

Note: You won't receive a notification in the following scenarios:

If you make the updates to a component you're following. You only see notifications when other users make changes or delete the component.
You won't see a temporary banner in the top right corner.
You won't receive an email in your Inbox for notifications about components you follow.
