Update a map in Oxygen

As you develop content, the references to your topics in a map can change. When you update a DITA resource linked in a map, the change is automatically captured in the map. For example, if you rename a topic in the components browser, when you open a map that references the topic, the new name is already there. The same is true for when you move a topic between folders. The map will be automatically updated with the new location.

For non-DITA resources, such as folders, images, HTML files, audio, video, text files, and Markdown documents, you can manage those changes by opening the topic and updating it manually.
